who is phil and what are his words about?
Hello, my name is Phil Underwood. I am a native of Atlanta, Georgia (the most wonderful city in the world) and am gracefully aging toward my mark of a half-century. Is it true that 50 is the new 20? I thought not.
Anyway, I am living a life of pursuit. I want to pursue servanthood, communication of things that matter, love, grace, enjoyment of an abundant life and, most importantly for the future, fatherhood to my three daughters and their potential families.
I love thinking and dreaming and sharing my words that accumulate from those thinking and dreaming times. I enjoy reading and hearing the ideas of others whether they correspond with mine, debate mine or clash with mine. I envision having a relationship of mutual care and complement that gets better with age. I desire an intimacy with God that enables me to serve selflessly during my lifetime. I hope for the message of peace to be my mantra and my meaning.
I look forward to knowing and meeting you. If you read this and do not know me, please feel free to message me and introduce yourself to me. I want to know you and I want to know your story.

Phil, glad to find your blog…I knew that you said that you did a good bit of it, and I never asked where to find your writings, and now I find them because we bacame Facebook friends…so glad for that…I didn’t read them all, but I went back to late 2006 and saw how much you have shared of yourself and how open and honest you are about your life…that is one of the things I really appreciate about you…and it gives me courage to do the same…more and more, I feel a kindred spirit with you and the journey you are on…know I’m thinking of you and holding you up to our Father…love you
Phil … I was lying in bed trying to fall asleep and you came to my mind..I immediately jumped up and went to the computer. I wasn’t able to locate an email so I chose this route to communicate. I am very sorry to hear about your dad. He was a great man. You might remember my mom, she passed back in 1995 so I know the pain of losing a parent. I hope you and your mom are doing ok. Email me sometime if you like, would love to chat with you. Even though theres a lot of years between the last time we saw one another, I still consider you a friend
and will never forget the good times! CLS8622@COMCAST.NET Lamar S.
